In doing research to learn more about Nashville’s Highland Rim Forest, we came across several cities who claimed the titles “Largest Urban Forest In The World” and “Largest in the United States”. It occurred to us that we have a big chunk of the Western Highland Rim Forest running through our Metropolitan boundaries and if you added up all that acreage and compared it to the rest of those cities, well, we’ll let the maps tell the rest of the story.
Tell us what you think about this idea! What are we missing? Getting wrong or out of context? We’d love to hear your thoughts: largest.forest.feedback@nashvillehighlandrim.org
